FDA APPROVES REVOLUTIONARY LASER FOR WIDE-USE PAIN RELEIF

Salt lake City, UT, April 6, 2010 – Great Basin Chiropractic P.C.:  A Creating Wellness Center announces the Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) approval of the Erchonia3LT™ laser to use for pain relief in patients suffering from chronic and acute pain.  The laser, created by Scottsdale based Erchonia, has been proven through extensive testing to significantly reduce the level of pain symptomatic with a number of ailments.

The Erchonia 3LT™ is the first and only low-level laser approved for use in reducing pain.  By contrast to the high-power, high-heat lasers that are used in various surgical procedures, Erchonia lasers produce a low-level, or cold, output that has no thermal effect on the body’s tissue.  Instead, the laser serves to stimulate biological function positively.  Low-level laser therapy is commonly used to treat conditions such as acute and chronic pain in a number of medical areas without negative side effects.
